The Upside Down Church Part 2

The earth is under siege in this present age by a strong delusion. All who are born again are sanctified by faith but not all have the same inheritance. Ishmael and Isaac were of the same Father but each had a different election and inheritance. Most churches preach a message that combines the words of Paul with the words of James, Peter and John. To rightly divide the word, you must understand “to whom” it is written. When Paul wrote to the church and said “we,” he was referring to the body, the nations. He was not writing to Israel or the church in Jerusalem.
Paul confronted the gospel corruption in Israel but he still loved them because they were sanctified, and their inheritance was the new earth. All who believe on the only begotten Son of God have everlasting life. We have no idea the scope of the inheritances, because the word does not tell us.
In the book of Acts it is written “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:6-11
The hope of Israel and the first century church was the physical return of Jesus to restore the kingdom. There is no reference to a rapture or gathering anywhere in the bible other than Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians. Paul’s epistles were written to the called out members of the body. These are the chosen by grace whose inheritance is celestial. When Israel turned their backs from the truth, it was then offered to the nations. The church in Jerusalem grew into the religions of today.
Paul declared: “Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it. – Acts 28: 28 The Apostles fell short of the truth of the gospel. The first sign of the corruption of the church is listed in the fifth chapter of Acts and most have simply over-looked it. “And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.” Acts 5: 5, 11 Fear is the word phobia. It does not mean respect. God’s word means what it says and says what it means. “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear (phobia); but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8: 15
The treasure purchased by the man is still hidden in the field. – Matthew 13: 44
Like the marriage feast in Matthew, the first ones called refused the invitation so God brought in those despised by Israel, those who were the least deserving. The body of Christ throughout eternity will be the trophy of God declaring his grace. Once again we see, “Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.” -1 Corinthians 15: 46
The body will replace the hosts of heaven in that day when the devil is cast upon the earth. The citizenry of heaven will be restored. The Lord and his body then return to set up his kingdom. After the millennial reign and the final judgment, all will be restored with new heavens and a new earth. “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea, for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” – Revelation 12: 12
Many believers have an issue with the following. “That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:”- Ephesians 3: 6 The Gentiles were in spirit the “same body,” the body of Christ. See the concordant literal later in this article. They were fellowheirs and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel. Which gospel? The gospel preached by Paul. “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to “my” gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” -Romans 16: 25 Paul never associates his gospel with the gospel preached by Peter and the apostles. Peter himself had a problem with the writings of Paul. He wrote and admitted that Paul’s letters were hard to understand. “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood…” 2 Peter 3: 16
If you think they were hard to understand back then, consider the source of our information today. We have bible versions approved by holy men of God according to the world’s standards. We have become research experts at understanding world wisdom.
You can have every degree offered by man. You could shut yourself away for 40 years studying the scriptures however; you don’t know anything unless God has opened the eyes of your understanding. All understanding of the scriptures comes from the spirit of God. “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man, which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2: 11
I really like reading the concordant version of the bible. (Concordant.org)
The following is from Ephesians
On this behalf I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you, the nations, since you surely hear of the administration of the grace of God that is given to me for you, for by revelation the secret is made known to me (according as I write before, in brief, by which you who are reading are able to apprehend my understanding in the secret of the Christ, which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel of which I became the dispenser, in accord with the gratuity of the grace of God, which is granted to me in accord with His powerful operation. To me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations, and to enlighten all as to what is the administration of the secret, which has been concealed from the eons in God, Who creates all, Ephesian 3: 1-9
Notice the open and close parenthesis beginning after “known to me” and ending with “His holy apostles and prophets.” These were not the apostles and prophets from the circumcision. They are the gift ministries to the body. Reading from before the parenthesis to right after the closing parenthesis we have, “the secret is made known to me – in spirit the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise (in) Christ Jesus (his body), through the evangel (gospel) of which I became the dispenser (apostle)”
The body of Christ was a secret. It started with the call of Saul of Tarsus, the second of the apostles. Saul was his Hebrew name and Paul was his Greek name. Again we see the truth regarding that which is first and that which is second.
I’m going to close here with the same statement from the first part of “the upside down church.” – “The failure or refusal to discern Paul’s gospel as a separate and new revelation and not a “development from Judaism,” accounts for most of the confusion in many people’s minds today regarding church.”
