“Shema Yisrael” the first two words of a section of the Torah, is the title of a prayer that serves as a centerpiece of the morning and evening Jewish prayer services. The first verse encapsulates the monotheistic essence of Judaism: "Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one." Our God is sovereign.
We by grace have been chosen to be members of the body of Christ. He is our head, our guiding light and unerring compass. Our axiom is simple and succinct: “For me to live is Christ” – Philippians 1: 21.
The Apostle Paul Wrote in Colossians 1: 25-28: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill (complete) the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
The church in the home is a group of individuals who are gathered together to fellowship with like minded believers. It is the embassy of Jesus Christ.
We are charged with a mission. We herald God’s word to a dying nation. Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. Acts 28:30, 31
